James qualified from Queen’s University Belfast in 2014, and completed his Dental Foundation Training in Devon. He then completed Dental Core Training years in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Restorative Dentistry in Northern Ireland and Scotland. He became a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons in the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2016.
James then undertook a 5-year programme of Specialty Training in Restorative Dentistry in the School of Dentistry, Belfast, and completed the Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship Examination (ISFE) in Restorative Dentistry. Following completion of this training, he was appointed as Fellow of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons in the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and is registered on the Specialist List for Restorative Dentistry with the General Dental Council.
James has extensive experience of delivering restorative dentistry treatment as part of holistic and multidisciplinary care. He welcomes referrals for fixed and removable prosthodontics and periodontology. James also has a particular interest in the stabilisation and rehabilitation of patients with periodontitis with both non-surgical and surgical treatments. |
