Dr Olga Kerr is a Consultant Dermatologist and Dermatological Surgeon with over 20 years’ experience. She has worked extensively across the UK and has been a Consultant Dermatologist since 2006, alongside running a successful private practice.

She graduated from Queen’s University Belfast and completed specialist dermatology training in Edinburgh, where she was awarded, an MD. Dr Kerr also holds a master’s in medical education, an Executive MBA from Queen’s University Belfast and a BTEC qualification in laser/cosmetic dermatology.

Dr Kerr has undertaken advanced training in skin cancer surgery, including a Post CCT Fellowship in Cutaneous Surgery at the University Hospital of Wales, specialising in Mohs micrographic surgery. She is one of a small number of dermatologists trained in Mohs technique and has particular expertise in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer, including complex reconstruction.

She is also an experienced general dermatologist, treating a wide range of skin conditions. A Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Glasgow, Dr Kerr has held the role of Training Programme Director for Dermatology in Northern Ireland and is actively involved in teaching and professional development.

Dr Kerr has been Clinical Director of Dermatology in both the Belfast Trust and Ayrshire and Aaran as a result of her management degree. Her clinical interests include skin cancer diagnosis and management, mole assessment and scanning, and general dermatology.

Dr Kerr understands that concerns regarding mole changes or possible skin cancer can be worrying for patients. She takes a thorough and reassuring approach, ensuring patients receive clear explanations and evidence-based advice regarding diagnosis, treatment and ongoing surveillance.

She is fully registered with the General Medical Council and is committed to delivering high standards of patient-centred dermatological care.
