Laura is a Specialist in Special Care Dentistry with a dedicated focus on providing high-quality, patient-centred care for individuals with additional needs. She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Queen’s University Belfast in 2010 and has since developed extensive experience across primary care, community dental services, and hospital settings throughout the United Kingdom.

Laura has undertaken further postgraduate training in Dental Sedation and Clinical Education, supporting both the safe management of anxious patients and her involvement in teaching and mentoring. She also completed a Master’s level research project focused on medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ), working in collaboration with oncology teams during her time as a Special Care Dental Officer on the Isle of Man.

Her specialist training in South Wales has provided a strong foundation in managing patients with complex medical, physical, and psychological needs, ensuring a compassionate and tailored approach to care.

Laura welcomes referrals for patients who may find routine dental treatment challenging, including those requiring additional behavioural support, medical risk assessment, or sedation. She works closely with referring clinicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and coordinated care, with a clear focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for every patient.
